Clementina "Kit" Caroline Anstruther-Thomson (1857–1921) was a Scottish author and art theorist. She is mainly known for her writing and lecturing that she did on the subject of experimental aesthetics during the Victorian era.
She collaborated with Vernon Lee in the 1890s, and this inspired Lee's growing interests in the psychological aspect of aesthetics later in her career. Kit and Vernon Lee were intimate friends, and Kit would go on to spend many years at Il Palmerino. In fact, Vernon Lee planned on leaving Il Palmerino to Kit. If Vernon Lee died before Kit had died, Kit would have inherited il Palmerino.
