On 9 October 2025, a meeting moderated by Emanuele Giusti and introduced by Giovanni Tarantino from the University of Florence took place at Il Palmerino. The meeting was part of a series dedicated to our contemporary world, bringing together historians, sociologists, anthropologists and economists to reflect on the present and provide the tools to understand today's challenges, changes and future prospects in a critical and constructive manner.
