Finissage Un Volto e i suoi Sguardi V: ritratti dalla Charles H. Cecil Studios, 6 June at 5:30 PM

On Saturday 6 June, we will bid farewell to the exhibition A Face and Its Gaze: Portraits from the Charles H. Cecil Studios with an afternoon dedicated to tradition and how young people uphold and keep it alive.

At 5.30 pm, Vita Van Linge will talk about her research into the great friendship between Vernon Lee and Sargent (in English). We will then present the booklet resulting from the event combining paintings and writing held at the Palmerino on 24 May. And to conclude, the Lithuanian soprano Geidre Kisielute, whom we had the pleasure of hearing last year and who will soon be leaving Italy having completed her specialisation, will perform a selection of captivating pieces accompanied by cellist Nahomi Escobar Caro.
