This event, part of the Esplorazioni dell’Estate Fiorentina 2026 program, consists of two parts.
At 6 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to attend and participate in the Workshop, dedicated to people with movment experience, to explore possibilities from language to movement. Later, at 8 p.m., Alessandro Marzotto Levy, dancer, choreographer, programmer, and winner of the DNA Choreographic Notes Award for his piece IRENE, will present extracts from his last performance titled “TONY.”
Tony, a dance performance narrated in English, portrays the vulnerability of an authentic body, traversing the past and the future to convey the simplicity and complexity of growing up in a society that marginalizes, harms, and frightens. It is an act of presence that aims to be not only an autobiographical performance, but a choral song for all the stories that, even today, find their voice only in safe spaces, where one can express oneself without fear.
Concept and Creation:
Alessandro Marzotto Levy
In collaboration with:

The workshop and dance performance are free, with the possibility to stay for dinner for an additional fee.
