In the media, the image of Florence is one of the most recurrent, but often also the most trivialised and stereotyped. The film aims to give the city a totally original image, going beyond a purely historical-artistic vision, linking it rather to the myths, stories, and characters that 'run' along the minor rivers that cross it.
The film, supported by the Toscana Film Commission, will be the driving force behind a series of meetings and excursions that characterise the festival Il Viaggiatore Sentimentale (The Sentimental Traveller), of which it is the inaugural event.
