Il Palmerino Cultural Association were pleased to host the opening of the exhibition Ludovico Tommasi, Bucolic Epiphanies between Fiesole and Florence from Thursday, June 26th to August 31st, at Villa Il Palmerino. This exhibition, curated from a body of 44 drawings of Ludovico Tommasi from the personal collection of Alfio Parretti and his wife Fiorenza Angeli, functions as an invitation to the fleeting moments of everyday life. From scenes of domestic intimacy to visions of sprawling landscapes to quiet moments of tranquility, Tommasi's work unfolds like a lyrical Georgic novel.

The exhibition was part of Sconfinamenti, a larger series of events about Florence and the surrounding countryside. Alongside Associazione Culturale Il Palermino, I  Libri Di Mompracem and Casa Museo Schlatlter hosted lectures and presentations throughout these two months. We also thank the Citta di Firenze - Cultura for their support.
