From 26 June to 31 August 2025, Ludovico Tommasi's evocative drawings are on show at Il Palmerino.

Il Palmerino Cultural Association is delighted to host the opening of the exhibition “Ludovico Tommasi: Bucolic Epiphanies from Fiesole to Florence and back,” on view from Thursday, June 26, through August 31 at Villa Il Palmerino. This exhibition, curated around a core collection of 44 drawings by Ludovico Tommasi from the private collection of Alfio Parretti and Fiorenza Angeli, serves as an invitation to capture the fleeting moments of everyday life. From scenes of domestic intimacy to visions of boundless landscapes, and moments of stillness and contemplation, Tommasi’s work unfolds like a lyrical Georgic novel.

The exhibition was part of “Sconfinamenti,” a broader series of events dedicated to Florence and its surrounding areas. Together with the Il Palermino Cultural Association, I Libri di Mompracem and the Schlatter House Museum hosted lectures and presentations over the course of two months. We would also like to thank the City of Florence, Culture for its support.
