On April 2, we invite you to a visit to Il Palmerino to not only profit from Marieluise Bantel's exhibition TIMELESS in the estate's reviving spring atmosphere, but also to experience a cultural talk by English scholar Sally Blackburn-Daniels: She will present a short lecture related to her work on Vernon Lee, Mary Robinson, and Amy Levy, focusing on the language of flowers, titled “Vernon Lee and Her Flowers.” In this presentation, accompanied by tea and biscuits, she will discuss how these writers used the language of flowers as a way of communicating, based on a few poems set in spring.
The event will start at 3:30 pm with a guided tour through Il Palmerino's garden and will end around 5:30 pm.
Information and reservations can be requested by contacting associazione@palmerino.it.
