Andrea Amati, with over 20 years of work experience in China, will present the history of this major country of our time, showing how it went from a nation comparable to the Third World until the 1970s to becoming a leading economic and political power nowadays.

He will first outline the evolution of the international order and its developments, explaining the political and cultural structure of China in the lead-up to the contemporary era. Finally, he will discuss China’s transformation in the economic sphere and, subsequently, in the field of international politics.
